Mr. Bill Kraatz (Principal Associate) is a lifetime horseman, the grandson of a WW1 U.S. Cavalry sergeant who was stationed at Ft Riley, KS.
He grew up with horses, and, as an adult, showed Hunter/Jumpers, gradually moving to Eventing (up to Preliminary level), Dressage (riding thru 4th lvl.) and now Combined Driving.
Bill holds 3 licenses, as an international level horse show official, with the United States Equestrian Federation (USEF) and International Equestrian Federation (FEI), in the disciplines of Combined Driving, Eventing, and Dressage. He was the 4th person in North America to hold international officials cards in 3 different disciplines.
Bill keeps memberships and actively participates in the Carriage Association of America, the Kentucky Dressage Association, the Northern Kentucky Horse Network, the Kentucky Horse Council, the MidSouth Eventing and Dressage Association, the United States Dressage Federation, the American Driving Society, and the Retired Racehorse Project, where he currently serves as Head Steward of Competition at the annual Thoroughbred Makeover.
